Brands currently mapped in the checker
The current snapshot includes official policy data for Selkirk / SLK / Selkirk LABS, JOOLA, CRBN, Vatic Pro, Six Zero, Paddletek, Engage, Volair, Gearbox, Diadem, Franklin, and Bread & Butter. If a brand is not mapped, the checker will say so rather than inventing a warranty term.
Important model-specific differences
Selkirk
Selkirk Sport’s main U.S. paddle line carries a limited lifetime warranty after activation. SLK paddles use a one-year policy. Selkirk LABS Project paddles generally use a two-year policy, while Project Boomstik has its own limited lifetime warranty. Outside the U.S., Selkirk publishes a separate international policy with different coverage.
JOOLA
JOOLA’s standard pickleball paddle warranty is six months in the U.S. and Canada. Eligible NFC-enabled paddles can extend to 12 months when registered through JOOLA Infinity within 14 days with an approved receipt. Current Pro IV / Pro V product pages explicitly advertise 12-month coverage with registration.
Franklin
Franklin’s general limited warranty is 90 days, but current C45 and FS Tour paddles have a separate one-year limited warranty. The checker detects those model families separately.
Diadem
Diadem’s high-performance paddles use a six-month manufacturer warranty when registered. Warrior BluCore adds a lifetime warranty on the core, plus six months of coverage for manufacturing defects on the whole paddle.
Vatic Pro
Vatic Pro’s current general warranty page says one year, but its own paddle comparison page lists PRISM at six months while newer V-Sol / Saga lines show one year. The checker treats PRISM separately.
When the manufacturer pages conflict
Sometimes a brand’s own pages are not perfectly synchronized. Volair currently has an FAQ that says 180 days while its dedicated Warranty / Shipping page says one year. Gearbox also publishes overlapping wording around a standard period and registration extension. In those cases the checker shows a warning and sends you to the live policy instead of pretending the discrepancy does not exist.
How registration affects eligibility
Some brands require registration for any warranty coverage; others only require it when the paddle was bought through a retailer; others use registration to extend the warranty. That distinction is why “registered: yes/no” is part of this tool.
Why purchase source matters
Many brands limit warranty service to the original purchaser and require the product to come from the brand itself or an authorized retailer. Used paddles, private-party sales and unauthorized marketplace sellers are commonly excluded even when the paddle itself is genuine.
What a manufacturer warranty usually covers
Most policies focus on manufacturing defects and workmanship: structural failure, defective handles, delamination or core failure where the brand determines it is a manufacturing defect, and other premature defects. Normal surface wear, scratches, fading, ground strikes, paddle collisions, abuse and permanent modifications are commonly excluded.
What to save on purchase day
- receipt or order confirmation;
- model and thickness;
- serial number or NFC identifier;
- registration confirmation;
- photos of the paddle before heavy use;
- the official warranty page you relied on.

Methodology and official sources
Terms shown by the checker are manually mapped from official manufacturer warranty or policy pages and dated. The tool does not treat a retailer summary, forum post or old screenshot as stronger evidence than the manufacturer’s current policy. Where an official source has an internal inconsistency, the result is flagged.

FAQ
Does a lifetime warranty mean the paddle will last forever?
No. It usually means eligible manufacturing defects are covered for the defined lifetime of the product under the brand’s policy. Normal wear and tear is generally excluded.
Can I claim warranty on a used paddle?
Usually not under the policies mapped here because most are limited to the original purchaser and are non-transferable.
Does registering late still work?
It depends on the brand. Some publish strict registration windows, such as 14 or 30 days. If your deadline has passed, contact the manufacturer rather than assuming the registration will be accepted.
Does local consumer law disappear because the manufacturer warranty expired?
No. A voluntary manufacturer warranty is separate from statutory consumer rights that may apply where you bought the product.
