How we verify events, dates and source-review labels
Source-review labels: “Provisional” means important details have not been confirmed with an organizer. “Reviewed” indicates a manual check of some organizer details, sometimes displayed with a check date; it is not a guarantee that the event, registration, or venue is still unchanged.
Before you enter: Dates, venues, divisions and registration details can change. Confirm the final schedule, registration status, partner requirements and fees using the linked organizer.
Calendar discrepancies: Some tour calendars show placeholder dates or disagree with local organizers. Listings note known discrepancies where possible. All reviews are manual, not live monitoring; a badge is not proof that registration is currently open.
Official tournament calendars — national associations and pro tours
These organizer-run calendars are useful when an event listing points to a general schedule rather than its individual registration page. A tour event is not necessarily open for amateur entry; always check player eligibility and the registration deadline.

Which type of pickleball tournament can I enter?
Local and amateur events: Browse the national calendars above and check each entry for rating, age division, doubles-partner requirements and remaining registration spaces.
USA Pickleball Golden Ticket: See the official qualifier schedule and confirm eligibility and Nationals qualification rules with the organizer; dates and venues may change.
APP Next: Review the player-development pathway for ages 16–23. Players younger than 16 need an approved wildcard, and registration requirements differ from general amateur events.
College teams: Browse collegiate tournament listings. The NIRSA / APP collegiate series requires enrollment verification and college team rosters (normally two to three men and two to three women per team). NIRSA lists current regional qualifier registration deadlines; APP lists a $230 qualifier team registration fee and required player certification. Verify current student eligibility, USA Pickleball membership, fees, waivers and entry deadlines with the official organizers; these are not unrestricted amateur brackets.
Professional tours: A listing on the PPA or APP calendar does not automatically mean an amateur division is offered. Always use the dedicated event page to confirm registration options.

Duplicate and event-tier checks: Two competitions in the same city on the same dates are not necessarily duplicates: an organizer may run separate age, rating, elite or development divisions. We compare the named organizer, event-specific registration page, competition level and playing dates before merging records. Unresolved same-weekend overlaps are flagged as provisional rather than removed without evidence.
Finding a competition: Start with the country and date range, then search a city, tournament or venue. “Reviewed” narrows results to entries for which we have added a source-review status; it does not mean entry is available or that the entire listing was recently rechecked.
Calendar link vs event registration: Some source links open a national or tour-wide calendar rather than the individual tournament entry. When that happens, search the event name and date on the organizer’s site, and check the actual entry deadline, divisions, rating requirements, fees, partner rules and refund policy before paying.
Found an error or a missing international event? Send its name, country, date and official organizer URL by emailing a correction. We favor the primary organizer or federation source over aggregator pages.
How these listings are maintained
Freshness: Selected tournament listings were checked against organizer and federation sources between October 8 and 10, 2026; the full directory was not revalidated on those dates. Past events are automatically hidden from the default display, but changing entries and registration status still require periodic manual re-checks. Always confirm registration and actual playing dates with the organiser.
We use official tour, federation and organizer schedules where possible. The list includes professional, national, regional and selected community events when the source is strong enough to verify the event. A listing here is a discovery aid, not a replacement for the organizer’s registration page.

Does “Source-reviewed” mean I can still register?
No. That label indicates an individual source check, not live registration status. Some tournaments are already underway, have closed entries or have changed their playing days since the last check. Always open the official event page before paying or booking travel.
